Do yo have an facebook account?

We have just released a facebook application to connect the two communities.
WIth this application installed in your facebook account, you can have you languages displayed on your facebook profile page, possibly exposing your profile to the entire facebook community or network.

The application also has a advanced search function to enable you to search the two communities separately. You have the option to search within the facebook community only.

It's a very simple to do.

    1. Go to http://apps.facebook.com/xlingoapp and add the apppication to your facebook account.
    2. Follow the instructions on the application page to link your facebook account to your xLingo.com account by entering your xLingo username and password.

    3. If all went well your languages should be displayed on your facebook profile.

We need at least five people to install it in order submit it to the facebook application directory, so please help spread it.

Any questions or comments are welcome.

    Eddie

You don't need to have a school e-mail anymore! (you used to, but they changed that)
Just go to www.facebook.com and sign-up using your regular e-mail  You just won't be able to join a school network if your school isn't listed, but that doesn't really matter.

The xLingo app on the Facebook profile still says I want learn instead of "I want to learn" :?

    haha, that's true, I haven't noticed before :)

Go into your xLingo Application again, it should update your facebook profile with the correct wording.
If you change your languages in your profile, your must gointo to your facebook application again for it to reflect the changes.
